Welcome, to My Blog
Now we will be exploring kolhapur the Land of free & happy people I must say. The Land of Brave people or the Land of pahilwans, rivers and what not.
you might find people here abusing like (Randechya) but don't take it personal... this is kind of culture/common talk they will forget saying this words in mere 2 minutes this is that common. And I said don't take it personal doesn't mean you suffer anyway you know what I mean. But I must say you will find people here with humanity and care.
Now I will get to main subject so
1. How To Reach..
Nearest Airport is Pune Airport. which is 233Km also Goa Airport is on the same distance which is also an International Airport.
Kolhapur is District place so Traveling here is quite easy as the place is well connected.with Bus and Trains.
2. where to stay
Depending on budget there are lot of Lodging hotels and hostels present for stay.
I personally stayed at Hotel Ayodhya at Tararani chowk which is quite good actually and the food was also good.
3. Travelling Inside
So many public transports is there like bus,Rickshaw,Ola,Taxi, etc even try to hire vehicles like car/scooty to roam around.
now let's start with how I did.
So In morning I landed at Jyotiba Temple which is some 30-50km from Main City yeah that's right I was on time limit so I got there first. I was bathed and fresh so was the best time to take Darshan. so I did and I stayed there for some time. then I got to panhala fort.
Now here is tact most new people don't know that we don't need to get to the bottom of hill but we have one road that connect this two places from above only. Ask this to local people and they can guide you.
Panhala Fort have a great History that Every marathi person know. Bajiprabhu Deshpande, Shiva Knahvi, and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj actually fought here. there footsteps are inspiration to generations ahead...
